Best Vocal Sample Packs & Loops

7,172 Best Vocal Sample Packs & Loops 2023

Instrumental music is among one of the hardest genres to succeed in. No wonder, then, that most music features vocals in some capacity.

Lyrical and melodic ideas are mostly transferred and relayed through vocals. They give music emotion, power, and a centrality for listeners to hook themselves into.

Vocal sample packs and loops can offer ideas you might not come up with on your own. They can be used as background, texture, pads, and even leads, depending on how you use them.

In this guide, we look at the best vocal sample packs and loops.

Future Vocals by OST Audio

Future Vocals by OST Audio

OST Audio’s Future Vocals features a total of 1.11 GB of female vocal content spread across 265 samples and loops.

This collection is very modern sounding, ideally suited to electronic genres like pop and future pop.

The content is diverse, whether it’s phrases, chops, leads, hooks, adlibs, or backing vocals. There are even a bunch of variations on these, be it dry, wet, pitched, atmospheric, and even chopped.

But Future Vocals is more than just a collection of vocal loops. In addition to five vocal kits, you’ll also be furnished with a mix of synth leads, synth melodies, drum loops, drum one shots, bass loops, and MIDI files.

With a generous, heaping serving of future pop content, you’ve got all the building blocks you need to make the next big hit.

Vocal Allstars by Toolroom

Vocal Allstars by Toolroom

Toolroom’s Vocal Allstars features a nautical ton of male and female vocal content tailor made for house music.

House producers are often looking to add interesting textural vocal elements separate from the main melody or hook. Sometimes they will get the vocalist they’re working with to perform these, but there can certainly be creative advantages to working with pre-made content.

Loops and samples can provide inspiration you might not otherwise find, leading to surprising lyrical and melodic hooks that tweak the ear of the listener.

This 338 MB collection of 191 24-bit / 44.1 kHz WV files is a lot like that. Adlibs and phrases dominate the collection, but there are nine vocal hooks and two vocal harmonies if you need something that offers melodic inspiration.

Vocal Midtempo by Dropgun Samples

Vocal Midtempo by Dropgun Samples

Created for EDM, Vocal Midtempo features era appropriate vocal loops. This toolkit should assist you with creating your next big hit.

The gigantic collection spans 1.32 GB of vocal content. But there are also FX loops, drum loops, drum one shots and other files to help you construct a memorable tune. It doesn’t stop there, either – you also get 36 Serum presets and 37 MIDI files to round out the collection.

Some of it is a little too “modern” for my tastes, but I am hearing some excellent hooks in here also.

The Vocal Midtempo collection is highly rated, and if you’re lucky, you might even be able to get it on sale. It’s well worth it if EDM is a focal point in your projects.

Vocal Bliss by TONE KITCHIN

Vocal Bliss by TONE KITCHIN

The Vocal Bliss collection would be at home in hip-hop productions, but it shows potential enough to be useful in subgenres, like chillhop, lo-fi hip-hop, future beats, trap, ambient, downtempo, and possibly other major genres as well.

The 100% royalty free kit is comprised of 221 MB of content at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz. A total of 98 files forms the collection.

Most of it is very chill, very laid back in style. Of course, it depends somewhat on the beats you set behind the vocal parts.

Poetic Vocals by Aim Audio

Poetic Vocals by Aim Audio

With a name like Poetic Vocals, you might be expecting poetry night at the local café. But that’s not quite what we’re looking at here.

This library was created for pop and trip-hop styles, though it would be at home in downtempo and singer-songwriter projects as well.

So, as for the “poetic” aspect of things, you will find the lyrics to these loops very poetic indeed. And that’s by design!

This female vocal pack is simply huge at 2.43 GB. You get five full songs, which are fun demos you can listen to for creative inspiration.

Aim Audio wanted to give you more, so they threw in vocal scratch loops. These are especially cool when used sparingly for punctuation.

Altogether, you get 1,165 files to work with. If you think your projects could benefit from a poetic slant, then this collection should float your boat.

Vocal Moods by Aim Audio

Vocal Moods by Aim Audio

Aim Audio’s Vocal Moods is a female vocal sample pack with 1 GB of trip hop content.

This library was created to be emotionally evocative, heartwarming, moody, and beautiful.

From effected vocals and auto-tune to scratched vocals and vocoder, this pack fills all the gaps with variety.

Besides trip hop, you could easily shoehorn these files into hip-hop, EDM, jungle, dub, and others.

The 24-bit / 44.1 kHz are mostly at slower tempos. There are 610 files to do with as you please.

These mostly fall under the category of “soft R” vocals, which I don’t even pretend to be a fan of, but there’s no denying they fit in with today’s musical landscape.

Anatolian Vocals by EarthTone

Anatolian Vocals by EarthTone

Just as it sounds, the central theme of Anatolian Vocals is male vocal loops stemming from Anatolian cultures. As result, they have an exotic, otherworldly sound to them.

In developing this pack, EarthTone was sure to employ a Turkish vocalist to deliver on an authentic and versatile sound.

There’s little denying that Anatolian Vocals would be a great collection to have at the ready for scoring TV shows, films, video games, and more. But it’s well worth trying in a variety of genres, be it ambient, experimental, meditation, hip-hop, or folk.

Key and tempo information is included.

Mantra Vocals by Hachion Sound

Mantra Vocals by Hachion Sound

Recorded with a real Japanese abbot, Mantra Vocals features the traditional mantras, stemming from Buddhist scriptures, as well as “Goeika,” Japanese Buddhist poems.

The developer assures us that the mantras are all positive. I happen to speak Japanese, and I can assure you that this is the case.

To state the obvious, Mantra Vocals would work perfectly for scoring and cinematic purposes, but any music you want to fill with vibrant spiritual energy would be good candidates for these loops. Meditation music, for example.

Besides the mantras, this pack also comes with one-shots, trumpet shell phrases, FX, and even reverse shots.

Vital Vocals took extra care in recording this pack, using the best mics and hardware available to make them smooth, dreamy, and beautiful.

The vocalist they used for this collection has even appeared on several other sample packs. While her style is not something I’m into, I can certainly see her appeal.

This is a small but welcome entry at 155 MB, and there is plenty to play with – lead vocals, backing vocals, and chorus vocals.

RnB Vocals by Image Sounds

RnB Vocals by Image Sounds

It’s always nice when the developer spells out the product in its title. There’s no mystery what RnB Vocals is.

Perfect for pop and RnB alike, these samples remind me of Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo. The developer says they’re reminiscent of The Weekend though.

The melodies and lyrics alike are all very modern (but not future modern) and they are spread across an array of tempos to complement projects at different BPMs.
